A concise book that goes though the modules included with Python, giving a brief discussion and example usage for each module. Nothing in it is useless or redundant; each module gets a few pages, there are few examples longer than half a page, jokes are infrequent (though the sample data is often inspired by one Monty Python sketch or another), and it doesn't attempt to document every method or class, fruitlessly duplicating the Library Reference. An admirable book that I can recommend as an overview of Python's library.
